Ludhiana, February 18, 2026 (Akash Sharma): A one-day hands-on workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Development was successfully organized at Gulzar Group of Institutes with the objective of enhancing the technical skills of students. The workshop aimed to provide practical exposure aligned with current industry requirements.
The session featured Gaurav Madan, CTO of NIWI-AI, as the keynote speaker. Sharing his industry experience, he provided valuable insights into modern software development practices and Artificial Intelligence technologies. During the workshop, students were introduced to the fundamentals of GitHub, including account creation, repository management, and code commits.
In addition, students gained practical experience in developing a resume builder and an HTML-based application using ChatGPT. Various technical concepts were explained in detail to strengthen their foundational understanding. In the second phase of the workshop, participants were guided on running AI models and developing advanced applications.
On this occasion, Gurkeerat Singh, Executive Director of Gulzar Group of Institutes, encouraged the students and emphasized that the institution’s primary objective is not only to impart theoretical knowledge but also to prepare students according to industry demands. He stated that in today’s rapidly evolving world, understanding AI and emerging technologies is essential. Such workshops foster innovation and practical thinking among students, paving the way for a bright future.
